The online buying process was easy, with seat assignments, and the instructions for arrival were clear. Parking was easy, so long as you followed the instructions. It cost me over $180 dollars just to get to the mountain top and over 2 hours on cog railways and trains starting in the town of Grindwald. The Aletsch glacier, Ice Palace, Sphinx and Plateau viewing platforms, and Alpine research exhibition center are some of the attractions. There is a narrow gauge partially cog railway from Brig (from Geneva you get on at Visp now) to Zermatt and another from the village up to Gornergrat. The one from Brig is the continuing track from the Glacier Express. Because it is narrow gauge you have to change from the mainline trains.
