Day 2 we then drove to Polebridge and back, across GTTSR to overnight at Rising Sun. Day 3 we drove to Waterton, Canada for overnight in that park. Day 4 morning in Waterton, afternoon arrival at Many Glacier Hotel for 2 nights. Here is a basic itinerary for 12 days, lots of ways to customize a trip based on your specific interests. West Glacier is extremely convenient to the west side of the park - you should only be a few minutes drive to the west GTTSR entrance. It's farther from the east side - Many Glacier in particular is a few hours away. I find it more convenient to split my time between the two sides to reduce drive times.
