If I want to spawn an event chain (in my case the Doorway/dimensional portal) how do I do that using the console. I have tried just firing the event (event colony.3005 0) and it brings up the text but then there's no way to continue. I also tried manually adding the portal research facility as a planetary feature to no avail.

But if you're a spiritualist empire, you can pray the portal away and get early access to Psionic Theory, which is nice. Too bad dark matter doesn't do much in 2.2.The Mirror Dimension gives excellent economic rewards, while Null Void gives you a unique weapon you can't get anywhere else.
