It was always the case that if tag teams were created in game they wouldnt carry over to Universe. I know PC version of WWE 2k19 you were able to do it, but other than that game you may not have been able too. 2K19 was the first WWE game I had bought in sometime, I got 2k22 as well and having the same problems mentioned.
