Pure alchemist is pretty straightforward. You want a high INT to use every spell and a good DEX score so that you can hit things with a crossbow and bombs. 16 minimum for both of those stats. You want to take the feats that improve your bombs and you want to always take Precise Shot and Point-Blank Shot with a ranged character.
