The problem I have come across now is that whenever the engine has been running longer than 15-20 minutes (engine is warm) the starter will not start the truck up. It turns over, but very slowly, not enough to start the engine . If I continue to try to start it will eventually get to the point where it barely does anything when trying to start.

You could disconnect the fuel hose from the rail and have someone hold it away from the truck, turn key to the run position for a few seconds and see if it spews gas out. If no fuel, fuel pump fuse/relay, fuel pump driver module above the spare, or possible bad fuel pump.
