Then pugged the new one in and mounted it somewhere else. I don't know where it was but I got the suggestion of doing this from the internet. Step 1. Find the knock sensor on your engine. It's playing hide and seek, but you'll find it. Step 2. Unplug the sensor's electrical connector. Think of it as disconnecting a plug. Step 3. Switch your multimeter to the resistance setting.
