Sorry to necro the thread, but this has been happening to me since I updated my rig with an RX 6900 XT. No overheating, no other system issues, no crash logs. Just freezes mid game. Like I titled, I can't figure out why Stellaris continues to crash. I only know that manual saving sometimes makes it crash, other times it just happens randomly. I've uninstalled my mods but that didn't change anything, it still CTDs. Same with clearing the user directory: it doesn't stop it from crashing.
