Mortgage process took a while from initial enquiry through broker to completion, but we were quite an unique case with individual circumstances. Staff are helpful, friendly and thorough. The hamper on completion was a nice token.At the 11th hour refused to mortgage. Clearly has no intention of allowing repair to be undertaken. Staff lack experience of anything but basic issues and can't even tell you how much you may have to repay to clear your mortgage balance. Increasing admin passed to customer for enquiries.

Loughborough Building Society are stuck in the 19th century. They cannot or will not do free BACS transfers. They penalise loyal savers by not offering the same rates on old accounts as they do on new accounts. When they did eventually equalise the rate on their monthly saver accounts, I got no email to advise me.
