The MCX, Virtus and Rattler all have different upper receivers (upper rail length). But you can swap barrels between them. Handguards are not cross compatible between Virtus and Rattler or MCX. The Virtus will run cleaner suppressed and can adjust gas on the fly, has slightly better ballistics (1.2 longer barrel), can fire in the folded position but it is heavier.
