I resolved the issue by a clean install of the OS and then a new install of PixInsight. Not optimal but there appeared to be something in my migration from an M1 Mac to the M3.

Dec 3, 2023. #1. Hello I did some LRGB capturing on Jupiter. I stacked the videos in AS3 and pulled the three RGB TIFFs into Pixinsight to use LRGB Combine to produce a colour image. The first time I tried it worked lovely. Then after that, when I tried again, all I get is a grey scale image with no colour, although PI names it RGB.My initial image looks relatively ok (see pre-DBE attachment), but when I run a DBE or ABE it turns into a very grainy image and the background becomes less smooth and very colorful. Subsequent DBE adjustments after the first run are no longer possible since the resulting layer is even more colorful. This "new" color …

My last couple of WBPP runs have had issues during the "Plate solving reference frames" and "autocrop" steps. Used to work fine. During those steps, it tries to plate solve as illustrated by this log snippet: * Using an automatically calculated limit magnitude of 16.39. * Using the automatically selected GaiaDR2 catalog.

Save it to the location you want in your disk. - Then, go to SPCC preferences (the wrench button) and select the database you saved as default database.
