Splitstaff is, imo, top tier when it comes to dealing with youkai, because it shreds their ki. Overall, splitstaff does good ki damage, but average damage, however, 2 skills really stands out that can make the game much easier: Changing ways is one of the most spammable burst damage skill in the game, dealing both good damage and ki damage.
