If you pass, you’ll get a “good” pop up that says “our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time”. A bad pop up would be it allows you to reregister without it saying that but because you changed the expiration date on your card it won’t actually go through.
What is an NCLEX “Bad Pop-Up”? If the website prompts a payment on your card and permits your registration, it may mean you failed the NCLEX. Remember, this "bad pop-up" is NOT your official result, and the Pearson VUE trick is not 100% accurate.

The original (pre 2014) PVT may have been fairly accurate, but the current PVT (payment processing involved in the trick) is far less accurate. 1.It is not the most reliable!! The quick results are usually available 48 hours after the testing time, no matter the day of the week. If you took the test on Thursday at 8:00 then check for the quick results at 8:00 on Saturday (unless you are still getting the results on hold status). Sorry about your experience, but have hope. The bad pop up doesn't 100% mean fail.

I don’t know anyone personally who’s gotten the bad pop up, but I’ve definitely seen people say it can be wrong. I came out of my exam at 1030. I received the Pearson email titled, "NCLEX Examination Information" at 1100. Studied with Archer for 3 weeks approx 75 questions/day 5 day/ week. NCLEX exam shut down at 97 questions after a SATA. Was feeling very indifferent but optimistic about my results. I tried the Pearson vue trick (aka good or and pop up) and got the " Bad pop up " multiple times. I spent the next 2 days sobbing & devastated.
