Id say close to 90% of your heroes are just bad heroes like Faceless and Karma outside of being used as food for other heroes. Remember that you can only deploy 6 heroes at a time, so you focus on your 6 hero main team and your tennents for your main hero which will either be Eloise or Sword Flash Xia - the two best heroes for early - midgame.
