If it stalls, the opposite cylinder isn't running. If it doesn't stall, replace the wire and repeat the test with the other wire. V twin Intek engine. The written directions say to do it how I would do it with both valves at .005. The video shows a technique I think would work with both valves at .004. This engine sometimes backfires when customer turns it off.
