Water resists Ground's Ice and Water weaknesses while Ground covers up Water's electric weakness. It does get Toxic so it's got that going for it, but the extra weaknesses definitely hurt it. And the U-Turn resistence and Toxic immunity. Running a STAB does more damage than DW in most cases. DW is 120 BP with 90 acc, but Gunk Shot is 120 BP + STAB with 80 acc and so does significantly more damage. Meanwhile, Play Rough has the same acc as DW but also gets STAB after Tera and hits Fighting mons harder than DW without using Tera. All 3 types are resisted by Steel. Ice, Ice, Baby. Also, Ghosts. Namely Dragapult. (Assuming all moves to be physical in accordance to EQ) Rock gets something other than Stone Miss .
