Resetting orbi satellite.
Now my Orbi Satellite RBS50 won't factory reset using the reset button on the back. I've been reading these forums for years. I see that people have constant issues with the Orbi system and I no longer think that Netgear is going to do anything about it. This seems to be an issue a lot of router companies out there.

Yes. People do this all the time. The usual process is to do a Factory Reset on the new satellite and then perform the Add Orbi Satellite process with the new satellite in the same room as the router. After it sync's, move it to the desired location.

With no warning my connected ethernet devices all drop, satellite seems to reset, flashes white a few times before going solid blue then led goes out as i expect but it means no network to my work laptop for 2 minutes each time.
