Litter Robot owner here -- Have had two litter robots and I think a recent batch of circuits is faulty. First one had no trouble with DFI for years; second one I bought refurbished and DFI went in 2 months. I replaced the DFI on first one, that lasted only 2 months. If Whisker does not get on top of this, they will lose their audience.

late answered but here is how i fixed mine, but last time i take out the board to change the Full/empty sensor at the bottom Tray and re-assembly it back and my LR3 indicate the “Home Position Fault”. Turned out i didnt put the Hall effect sensor in the correct position.
