Checked all fuses - all were fine. Tried pulling the driver's footwell fuse #7 (a backup light fuse I think) for two minutes and the door started working again. That is the fuse for both doors that is hot all the time, and is the one that people find the parasitic drain on when there is a door latch problem. That said, that door is VERY unsafe without the rear latch in the latched position.

This is accentuated if the van is parked on an incline like a driveway. The jerkiness occurs more when closing and a couple times have stopped and reversed.
