Haven't tried the weapon skill in PVP, I imagine it would get you killed by anybody that knows how to avoid it, but in PVE is does great poise damage and good damage + bleed. I dual wield it with a Blood Godskin Peeler (111 bleed). With Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Lord of Blood's Exultation it seems to do pretty well.
