Conan exiles best light armor.
I always use advance flexibility/ gliding joints myself. Most of the armor kits are fairly useless for light armor but with gliding joints you can literally climb anything you want while in light armor. Either Master Armor or Bulked Plating depending on what you have available. Not much reason to use anything else.

You wanna stand head to head against the Champ or other high end bosses… best get heavy like silent/redeemed legion or godbreaker. Cimmerian is free with drops.
