yea, all of EA's servers seem to be down, not just battlefront but all their games. The demo for anthem went live today so that's most likely causing the issue. I decided to play the game again and to my surprise when I was booting it up it took over a minute to get into the menu screen. Needless to say, I moved the game over to my SSD and restarted my pc, it still took over a minute to load.
Your local servers will have you playing with mostly local players. So if you're playing really early or late, just switch to the next closest server and try to que again. (Because if you're queing early or late your local players will probably be sleeping.) If it doesnt work, switch to the third closest server.
