You'll find a lot of information on the forum about possible causes of an A/C malfunction and where the most common of them occur.The best remedy for this is getting your A/C serviced. From you description, it sounds as though the system isn’t building enough pressure, and by relation enough heat to turn the cooling fans on. In other words, the system is low on refrigerant.
